T-1 Day and... Our Flight Over!!!

Ok so this is it... we are actually doing this!!!

Our Last day in the states was great.  Started off with going to church here in Long Beach with Alan and Anna, then went to a 2 story Whole Foods (AWESOME!), then we had lunch with the Webbs who are good friends that have just recently come back from Indonesia.  After lunch Jennifer and Anna shared a very special event together, they went shopping for Anna's wedding dress!!  Yes we got to be here the weekend that Alan proposed and they are both soooo excited, as are we.  We are at the moment back at Alan's place packing our things for the last time.

We fly out at 12:50am pacific time (3:50am eastern).  First leg of the journey is a 14 hour flight to Taipei, Taiwan.  Then from Taipei we fly to Jakarta, Indonesia (the Capital).  Our last leg is from Jakarta to Semarang, which is where Jennifer's parents will pick us up.  We have added up the time that we will spend just in the air and it comes out to be about 24 hours!! Sheesh!! We both may arrive in Indo a little insane.

Any prayers of uneventful travels would be greatly appreciated, along with prayers that our bags arrive in Indonesia with us.

I guess this is goodbye for a few days.  We will catch you back here once we are in Indonesia!!!!!

  2. Sweet Yesus Kristus, bless Greg and Jenn with safe travels by plane, bus, car, give them rest, calm their nerves, make yourself ever present to them during this time of transition. Relieve their stress, help them see your hand as they take these steps of faith, trusting in your perfect plan for their future. Give them an excitement and love for the people of Indonesia that only you can give them. Father, give Greg a special ear for Bahasa, that he may come to learn the language quickly and efficiently. Bring them great times of ministry and service in Sala3. Protect their bodies from phsyical harm, protect their mental, emotional and spirital states from the enemy. In your mighty and holy name we come, thanking you for your goodness. Amen.
