Christmas Cookies

We just couldn't have Christmas without making Christmas cookies, so that's what we did!  For a few of the girls this was their first time making and decorating Christmas cookies.  Everyone enjoyed the whole evening, from the first fingerful of sugar cookie batter to the consumption the final frosted products.  We also had guest pastry chef Angie Martin, over to help with the evening.  Thanks Angie!

I put up the video below so you could enjoy the process from start to finish with us.  Sorry but you will have to do without the tastes and smells because I had trouble uploading those.  However if you make your own sugar cookies at home and watch this video while you are baking and eating them then you will get the full experience.  Well except for the fact that it is 70 degrees here.

I also wanted to include a picture of one of my favorite cookies of the night.  This cookie comes from an MK from Africa.  For some reason the camel turned out looking like a giraffe so she made a "Christmas Giraffe".

Genius!! Toys-R-Us should market this!!
