Pic/Vid a Day May - Science Class


Toothpick Bridges! After tallying up the votes, this bridge won the "most aesthetically pleasing" award.

Esther and Janice (you may remember them from this post in the dorm) are holding up their bridge after we tested its load bearing capacity.

NOW... we move on to frog dissections in Biology, so if you get squeamish at the sight of live frogs being dissected then you may not want to hit play.  Yes the frogs we dissected were alive, because there is no company like Carolina Biological in Indonesia from which you can easily order things like preserved frogs.  We also dissected live fish and fresh warm goat brains at other points in the year if that makes you feel any better. : )
